It's Sunday Sunday Gotta get down on Sunday!

The Surprise party went awesome and she was super surprised as we hoped. We had a great time and ate lots of sweets. Luckily for me its my rest days. And today I am going to my cousin's graduation party so more sweets for me!!

Anyway this morning I did 6 miles on the bike just to cross-train a little bit. I am super jealous of some of my fellow trackies. They are doing the mini marathon today. I wish I had signed up to do that. I am hoping to do my first half marathon later this summer :)

Here's a picture form the party. What a great group of girls, I feel so blessed they are all in my life.

First Post

Runner Roy.

A blog about my adventures through running.

OK so hey! Thanks for reading my blog. First let me start off by introducing myself, I am Emily R. and am an avid runner at heart. Just a day before yesterday was my last middle school track meet. Luckily I left with a bang by beating my schools mile record for the third time. The record was 5:56, then I broke it to 5:54, then the next meet I got a 6:01, then beat it at a 5:49. then finally a 5:46. I am so proud and know my coaches are too.

Alright, lets get down to business, I am a busy teenage girl with big goals in my life. I hope to run a half marathon in high school and a marathon sometime before I graduate medical school. But, why did I start a blog? I was inspired by Janae Jacobs, a blogger and runner I look up to more than anything. She is freaky fast and had a baby a little bit ago. Here's her blog: http://www.hungryrunnergirl.com/. Go check it out, I promise you wont be disappointed.

So I am a little upset how I cant run for a while, I am on recovery from track, but don't worry, as soon as I can get back at it, I WILL.

Have a great Memorial Day Weekend. RUN
